What is Manifest?

A manifest is the consolidated list of shipments handed over to a courier in a single pickup. Generating and closing a manifest confirms which AWBs the courier has taken responsibility for.

Before the pickup rider arrives, the seller generates a manifest — effectively a handover sheet listing every AWB in that batch. The rider scans against it, and once closed it becomes the record of custody transfer. Any parcel not on the manifest is treated as not picked up.

  • One manifest can hold shipments across multiple orders, but usually a single courier and pickup slot.
  • A closed manifest is your first line of evidence in a lost-in-transit claim.
