Privacy Policy

We collect the information needed to run a multi-courier shipping account and to hand your shipments to the couriers you choose. This falls into a few categories:

• Account & business details — your name, business/brand name, email, mobile number, business address and the login credentials you create.
• KYC & compliance data — GSTIN, PAN, bank account and cancelled-cheque details, and identity documents we are required to verify before enabling shipping and COD remittance under applicable RBI and courier onboarding norms.
• Shipment data — pickup and delivery addresses, consignee name and phone number, order value, package weight and dimensions, SKU descriptions, and the AWB/tracking events returned by couriers.
• Wallet & billing data — recharge amounts, transaction history, invoices, GST details and COD remittance records. We do not store full card numbers; card payments are handled by our PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway.
• Technical data — IP address, device and browser type, and usage logs captured when you use the dashboard or our APIs.

Where you upload consignee data (for example a bulk order file), you confirm you have the right to share it with us and with the couriers who will deliver those orders.

We use your information to:

• Create and secure your account and complete KYC verification.
• Compare live courier rates, book shipments, generate labels and manifests, and pass the required details to the courier fulfilling each order.
• Manage the shipment lifecycle — tracking, NDR resolution, returns, weight-discrepancy disputes and COD remittance to your registered bank account.
• Operate your wallet, raise GST-compliant invoices and process refunds.
• Send transactional and service messages (booking confirmations, tracking updates, wallet and remittance alerts) and, where you have opted in, product updates.
• Detect fraud, prevent misuse, and meet our legal and tax obligations in India.

RouteOneX is a shipping platform, so delivering an order necessarily means sharing shipment data with third parties. We share information only as needed to provide the service:

• Courier partners — Delhivery, Blue Dart, Amazon Shipping, XpressBees, Ekart, DTDC, Ecom Express, Shadowfax and any other courier you ship through receive the pickup, consignee and package details required to pick up and deliver the shipment.
• Payment & banking partners — our payment gateway and banking partners process wallet recharges and COD remittance to your account.
• Service providers — cloud hosting, communication (SMS/email/WhatsApp) and analytics providers who act on our instructions under confidentiality obligations.
• Authorities — where disclosure is required by law, a court order, or a valid request from a government or regulatory body in India.

We do not sell your personal data or your consignees' data to third parties for their own marketing.

We keep shipment, wallet and remittance records for as long as your account is active and thereafter for the period required by Indian tax, GST and company-law obligations — typically up to eight years for financial and invoicing records. KYC documents are retained for the duration required by our banking and courier partners. Once retention periods lapse, data is deleted or irreversibly anonymised.

Subject to applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may:

• Access and request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete details.
• Request deletion of your data, subject to records we are legally required to retain (such as tax and remittance records).
• Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time.

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, secure the dashboard against fraud, and understand how the platform is used so we can improve it. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may stop parts of the dashboard from working correctly.
