What is ePOD (Electronic Proof of Delivery)?

ePOD is the digital evidence that a shipment was delivered — typically a timestamp, GPS location, the recipient's name or signature, an OTP, and sometimes a delivery photo captured on the rider's app.

Instead of a paper signature, riders capture delivery confirmation electronically — a signature on the device, an OTP, a photo of the parcel at the door, and GPS coordinates. This ePOD is the seller's proof against fake item-not-received claims and chargebacks.

  • For high-value orders, OTP-based delivery adds a stronger layer than signature alone.
  • Keep ePOD accessible per AWB — it is the document you produce when a buyer disputes a delivered order.
