How tracking gets into Shopify
Shopify sends its Shipping confirmation email when an order is marked fulfilled with a tracking number. If the courier is one Shopify recognises, it links the number to the courier's tracking site; otherwise it needs a tracking URL. Typing numbers in by hand works for ten orders a day and breaks at a hundred.
With the RouteOneX app connected, the fulfilment is created in Shopify automatically when an AWB is generated. The tracking number, courier name and tracking URL are written to the order, Shopify fires the confirmation email, and later status changes keep flowing so the customer's order page stays current without anyone touching it.
Branded tracking instead of courier sites
Courier tracking pages are cluttered, carry the courier's branding and often go stale between scans. RouteOneX gives you a tracking page on your own domain that shows the same scan events for every courier in one layout, with your logo, your support contact and space for a product recommendation. Point Shopify's tracking URL at it and the confirmation email, the order status page and your WhatsApp replies all lead to the same place.
- One tracking page for all 8 couriers
- Your domain, your logo, your support details
- Works from Shopify's email, order page and your own messages
Status updates that cut support tickets
"Where is my order" is the most common support message an Indian D2C store receives, and almost every one of them is avoidable. Shopify emails on fulfilment; the moments that actually worry customers are out for delivery, a failed attempt and a delay. RouteOneX tracks those events across couriers so you can notify on them, and surfaces failed attempts in NDR management so your team acts before the customer writes in.
